Assemblages of musicians have existed since time immemorial for recording purposes or live performances in Opera houses or even Instrumental presentations. An ensemble of two or more musicians performing vocal or instrumental music on stage is more commonly called as a band performance. In classical music, instrumental music is blended and put together, whereas in a rock band or ensemble, there are guitarists and percussionists along with a drum kit to produce music on stage. These live performances rule out the use of any computerized assistance and the members need to perform all by themselves with their musical kits which requires immense amount of rehearsing and practice. ChordPulse 1.1 enables a practice and learning aid for musicians to enhance their performances and compositions.
ChordPulse opens with a vibrant interface with its major options located at the top left pane and at the bottom are placed the various nodes for controlling the chords and bass along with drums and tempo of the music. A perfect backing tool and musical pad to practice and improve upon, the software is also useful for music composing. It can be used as a full accompaniment, a drum machine with bass facility, a metronome with chords and much more. The users can experiment and explore their creativity and jam with about fifty accompaniment styles and change tempos and pitches in no time, altering chord progressions and music styles alongside. The user can also sing along and play along the application and even relax with it or just raise the pulse with rock and roll. The fun quotient makes it all the more enjoyable and relaxing to have as company.
ChordPulse 1.1 certainly promises to be a useful application for musicians and practitioners wanting to constantly improvise their performance and music and gets a rating score of four points for its stellar functionality and user friendly feature-set.
